Desktop runtime is necessary to run the Admin Browser Agent (ABA) User Interface and services that interface with Celiveo 365 in the cloud. Admin Browser Agent requires ports to be open in order to operate, further information in Ports and Communications. The ABA installation uses a signed Powershell script that needs to be authorized if your company deploys a policy with PowerShell ConstrainedLanguage Mode. Such policy will stop any unauthorized Powershell script from running and as a result the ABA installation will fail. The best is to exclude temporarily from the policy the following directory: %USERPROFILE%\\ABA , that’s where the ABA PS will be run from. | Celiveo 365 ABA (Admin Browser Agent) when Ricoh SOP 2.x/3.x printers are used | JRE (Java SE Runtime Environment) 8, OpenJDK 8 or Corretto 8 | Only required if Ricoh printers are used, and with the Celiveo embedded agent.
