This section provides the information regarding Celiveo 365 interface with FujiFilm printers prerequisites and specific settings.
System Requirements
• Celiveo 365 is compatible with Fujifilm Apeos 7.2 and newer MFPs with on-screen interface that integrates with the Universal Printer Endpoint for Celiveo 365 cloud services. It supports authentication via proximity cards and ID codes, and allows users to view, release, and delete print jobs directly from the MFP screen.
• Celiveo 365 also supports legacy Fujifilm and Fuji-Xerox network printers through the Celiveo Universal Printer Endpoint. This allows user to release jobs via smartphone.
*Note: Ensure that the PC where the Celiveo 365 Admin manages printers through his web browser and the printers are in the same network and have network accessibility to each other.
Firmware Notes
Ensure that FujiFilm devices are using the latest printer firmware.
1. Global Settings
1.1 Install Universal Printer Endpoint (UPE)
• UPE installation is mandatory in order to operate the FujiFilm devices.
• Ensure that UPE is properly installed your infrastructure (on-prem or private cloud) and that network on which UPE is installed, is able to reach the target printers local network/VLAN.
1.2 Enabling IPP on device
1. On the printer Embedded Web Server (EWS) and navigate to Network > Protocols
2. Enable IPP
1.3 Set SSL/TLS
1. On the printer EWS navigate to System > Security > Network Security > SSL/TLS Settings
2. Make sure the Protocol Version is TLS 1.2
1.4 Printer DNS Settings
Ensure that the printer network DNS settings are properly configured to your local network in order to access Celiveo 365 cloud services.
2. Card Reader
Do to technical reasons, the only card reader that can be used with Celiveo 365 on the Fujifilm printer is the card reader sold by Fujifilm
USB ports and the card reader plugin need to be enabled in order to use the badge authentication.
2.1 Enabling the USB port
1. On the printer EWS webpage navigate to Network > USB
2. Enable USB
2.2 Enabling Card Reader Plugin
1. On the printer EWS webpage navigate to System > Plug-in Settings
2. Make sure IC Card Reader Plugins are enabled.
