If your printer model supports the Celiveo 365 Secure Scan, the following icon appears on the printer front panel.

Celiveo 365 secure scan to Exchange Online

Click on that icon to launch the secure scan to email.

One-time Enrollment for Scan to Exchange Online and OneDrive for Business (high security sending)

When scanning to Exchange Online or OneDrive for Business the user identity is verified by Microsoft Entra ID, and the email is sent with your identity, not a service account tied to the printer. This is providing the same security as Outlook on your PC.
For that security to be enforced, a one-time enrollment is needed on each printer in compliance with Microsoft security guidelines.

  • You need to scan the QRCode shown on the printer screen with your phone
  • An Entra ID strong authentication is performed
  • Enter the MFA code displayed below the QRCode

Entra ID strong authentication for scan to Exchange Online

Exchange Online verifies the information then the printer screen will authorize you to send emails.
Sending emails from that MFP will be exactly like sending emails from your PC, with the same security, proof of origin and corporate email policy enforcement.

When using SMTP

With SMTP there is no user authentication or enrollment process as the printer is the sender.
